CreativelyDigital
CreativelyDigital – adventures in digital.
CreativelyDigital helps artists and creative practitioners embrace digital technologies in order to design their business, and their life, better.
Digital is changing the way we ‘do’ politics, media, journalism, design, even how we organise our social lives, but how has it impacted the arts and creative industries? Too often artists and creative people can look at ‘digital’ as a negative development, another ‘time suck’ in the myriad of things to do in a busy week, another skill to learn, an antithesis of creativity.
The mission of CreativelyDigital is simple: to show how digital can be used to design your creative business, and your life better.
For me, lifestyle design is about harnessing digital technologies and good old fashioned productivity advice, to get more done in less time, leaving more time for the important things in live – creativity, family and friends, and travel.
Too often in the creative industries we work incredibly long hours because we love what we do. Going digital can help us work less and earn more, it can help us learn and help us teach, it can help us colloborate and connect, it can facilitate location independent living.
