About Me

sineadmacmanus

Sinead Mac Manus is a freelance creative business consultant and trainer.

A strategic thinker with an eye for detail, Sinead brings a personal touch to working with clients and companies, becoming ‘one of the team’ rather than just an outside hire.  An online creative entrepreneur, she has a particular interest in e-learning, innovation and new media technology. Her offline specialist areas include research, funding and business planning to which she brings an inspiring creative perspective.

Sinead’s background is in the performing arts as a manager and consultant and has worked for a wide range of arts organisations, including Frantic Assembly, Tall Stories and movingeast. She is the author of ‘The eVolve Graduate Handbook:  a practical guide to producing performance’.

Her interest in e-learning was sparked during a role at University of Greenwich working on the Upstart programme for creative businesses. Her activity in developing new business models around the idea of e-learning for creative entrepreneurs using web 2.0 tools and social media, led her to be chosen in 2009 as one of the Courvoisier: Future 500 to watch.

Sinead is also a regular contributer to the London Theatre Blog on the topic of Web 2.0 and Social Media.
