I (finally!) got along to my first Social Media Cafe (The Tuttle Club) at LEON in Spitafields Market last Friday. The meet-ups are for anyone interested in the world of social media and web and are a great place to meet people, find out about new projects and get advice and feedback on what you are doing. The organiser Lloyd Davis is a great host and has succeeded in bringing together a great bunch of people.
Some inspirational projects I heard about: Culture Label, an online store for products from the UK’s leading museums and galleries and the Apollo Project, an empty shop space turned entertainment venue (temporary project).
The event is every Friday morning from 10am to 12pm and is currently hosted at LEON.
